We have reprinted the 2010
Retail Price Guide and taken the opportunity to add even more useful
information. You will be receiving a new copy of the Retail Price
Guide within the next two weeks - The new Guide has "SPRING
EDITION" written underneath the Sun Glow contact information -
upper right. When you receive the new guide please destroy all
other versions. If you have not received our price guide or fabric
book yet, please call us.

CANADA DAY CLOSING
As Canada Day is on Thursday July 1, 2010, we
have decided to close on Friday July 2, 2010 as well. We will
re-open on Monday July 5, 2010. Please make sure to pick up your
completed orders before July 1, 2010.

HST - July 1, 2010
We
are doing our best to manufacture your orders in time for shipping prior
to July 1, 2010 but as the days pass, this will become an
impossibility. PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY ORDERS SHIPPED ON OR AFTER
JULY 1, 2010 WILL INCLUDE HST. If your sales order confirmation
includes a target date of July 1 or later, expect your invoice to
include HST even if the sales order confirmation does not currently
reflect it.
We held an HST seminar this week for CDECA
members, the power point is available on our
website for your reference.

We are
participating in various professional development days and
presentations for organizations as well as offering our own
seminars. We now have a section on the website so that you could
easily see the upcoming events and can select those you would like to
attend. Our next seminar is "Revolutionizing the Roller Shade" to be held on
Wednesday June 23, 2010 at Designers Walk. It is free and open to

Perhaps
"Cruelty to Windows" continues
Remember last
month's story about the downtown Toronto hotel that had the wrong
product installed resulting in damaged window treatments, well, the
dealer who worked on that project contacted me. He is now one of
our Sun Glow dealers. He let me know that he had expressed to the
client that only drapery would work well in that particular
installation, I would definitely agree with him, and Sun Glow does not
even offer drapery. You really need to provide the best product
for the project and maybe sometimes it makes sense to walk away from an
order if you know it will be problems later.
I am sure many of
you face this problem regularly, where you advise the client the
best solution yet they insist on a less appropriate application, only to
have complaints, repairs, and replacement afterward. This is a no
win situation, even where the client does pay extra to have the proper
product installed, the damage is done and does not reflect well on any
of us.
