hope everyone has been having a Great summer, both personally as well
as in business. After several busy months, August has allowed us
to catch up in all departments. You should be seeing your sales
order confirmations within 48 hours of placing the order, and your
target dates getting shorter.
With increased sales, we experience
increased receivables. In order to continue to bring you great
service and innovative products we really need you to pay your account
within your terms, which for most dealers is 30 days from date of
invoice. Thank you for your co-operation.
We continue to
develop more unique, exclusive products. We are currently
developing a 'Glamorous' addition to our Artisan Collection, a new
cassette and system that can easily handle 40 foot wide shades without
deflection, and a dual roman shade. Details will follow once our
programs are completely in place.
To serve you better, we have two new sales representatives, Leslie and Diane who I introduce in the following paragraphs.
We
need your help with obtaining photography and/or testimonials of
automation projects completed involving spaces containing swimming
pools. If you worked on such a project, please give me a call.
I
encourage you to drop by the showroom when you have a chance, as seeing
the product and sales tools displayed makes a big difference. I
would like to meet you and personally give you the showroom tour.

Dealer Training
We
are into our third month of dealer training, and have had a great
response. Attendance not only gives your sales staff specific
product knowledge but allows them to visit our showroom where they can
see the complete product line, sales tools, and even prototypes of
products to come.
The next two training sessions are scheduled for:

Have you met your new Sales Representative?
Many
of you have already met Leslie McNicoll and Diane Nevins. Leslie
services clients west of Highway 427 / 400 and Diane east.
Both ladies have extensive Sun Glow Product knowledge to help you grow
your business.
Leslie has been working in the Window Treatment
Industry for 9 years servicing and training at major box stores for a
window treatment manufacturer.
Diane has also been in the
industry for 9 years, being a decorator, ran her own business, worked
for one of our dealers selling residential and commercial applications,
and finally for a window treatment manufacturer, in a similar role as
she now has with Sun Glow.
Both ladies are familiar
working with the end user, understand the issues a dealer faces and
competitive products. Please use them as a resource, contact them
